My goodness, I thought this would be easy.  I got talked into trying to sell things online.  I decided books would be the best thing.  Any sort of books but mainly I thought as I had read a lot about Alzheimer's, dementia and Motor Neurone Disease, all of which my husband suffered from.

Originally it was thought he was just suffering from Alzheimer's but as things progressed, from everything I had read about Alzheimer's and dementia I knew it wasn't just that.  I knew people had falls with Alzheimer's/dementia but I was pretty sure that they did not loose their mobility and speech the Paul was loosing his plus the muscle wastage is his hands - what was that all about.  He was having trouble holding a knife and fork and then chewing got to be a problem, eventually he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone  Disease -sorry our spelling is different from US spelling- this explained so much.  However it was too much for Paul I think at that stage he decided that he'd had enough, so on the 5th October 2012 Paul went to Heaven.  Where else could he have gone, he suffered so much without any complaints.

Anyway here I am trying to sell books, any sort of books would be good, but ideally I would like to recommend and sell the books that I read and that helped me.  Some of them I read over and over others I just read the bits that were relevant to us.   I have also asked other people of the ones they found helpful so have a pretty good selection to recommend but you can browse and make your own choice.

Even this blogging is new to me and I am not actually sure if I am doing it right or if I will even be able to find it again when I check in a couple of days :)   but here goes I am just about to publish!!!    Oh I forgot I had better put a link to my book store.  Told you I was new to this.

  1. Well I have actually sold something, it wasn't a book but who cares it is something. On my site you can actually buy anything that Amazon sells. If this actually works and I do make some money my plan is to start a 'Memory Cafe'. We don't really have any thing like that here so I thought it would be a worthwhile thing to do.
